Kuala Lumpur, Dec 3: Darul Rahmat Sdn Bhd has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Kolej Teknologi Darul Naim (KTD), to provide the opportunity, space and exposure for its students to learn about business management in the food services industry, particularly in the fast food segment.
The students will undergo an internship with Radix Fried Chicken (RFC), managed by Darul Rahmat, a company involved in the construction as well as food industry.
“Through the internship programme, students will be able to prepare early for the career step into the services industry,” RFC Chairman, Datuk Ahmad Shafee Sabaruddin told reporters after officiating the opening of the Sungai Besi RFC outlet and the signing of the MOU here today.
He said the programme will also give an edge to students taking related courses by helping them gain experience while working with RFC.
“Once students successfully complete this internship programme and obtain a certificate, they will be offered jobs in RFC,” he added.
Meanwhile, Ahmad Shafee said nearly RM1.2 million was invested in the opening of the new RFC outlet, adding, the company is confident of having 50 restaurants nationwide by 2017, from the present 10.
